You'd Better Belize It!

Of course anyone visiting my blog is far too well traveled and sophisticated to ask the number one question about Belize. Where the *s^#!%*! is Belize? But in case you've wandered over here from a cave, here's a handy map for reference:

Specifically, we stayed in Placencia, traveled mostly eastward to the world's second largest barrier reef, and one day went inland to the Jaguar Preserve.

I'd love to respond for real, but I'm on vacation the week of 4/19 - 4/28.

Between you and me, I'd much rather be working (I LOVE my job), but my boyfriend insisted on whisking me off to the Carribean to go diving, see Mayan ruins, and hike in the rainforest (phew). If it makes you feel any better there will be NO lounging on the beach because he's just not like that. Anyway, I have to go to keep the peace cuz, well, you know, I'm not getting any younger.

Then I'll be off to Boston for work (thank goodness) from 4/28 - 4/30.

I'll be back in the office on 5/1 for sure. In the meantime, you can contact Ashley abraun@grist.org if you need anything.
